Having a local presence is a key requirement for well-functioning management. Svenska Studenthus will construct management volumes of 300-400 apartments in the locations where they are operational, in order to create the basis for their own management organisation. This may be achieved both through new-builds and acquisition of existing properties.
A high turnover of residents in student accommodation and the heterogeneous makeup of students creates their own requirements and sets them apart from normal property management. We therefore work together with local student organisations to ensure our management is as of high a quality and as efficient as possible for both parties.
In our studies of the student accommodation market, we have seen a number of residences where communal space is not used to its fullest extent. We want to create communal space which gives a campus added value from day one, and which forms a compelling argument for students to choose our housing option.
